Protection of bona fide students from administrative clerical errors
dictates that genuine students who have validly pursued and completed their academic coursework must not be penalized for record-keeping mistakes attributable entirely to university administration. When an educational institution inadvertently omits an enrolled candidate's name from external reporting or regulatory disclosure lists while maintaining their genuine credentials in primary internal registers, such ministerial defects cannot be weaponized to deny academic certifications. Equity and justice prevent penalizing students for university blunders over which they exercised no degree of management or control, particularly where examination performance and coursework completion are uncontroverted.
