Distinction between professional registration and public recruitment eligibility

The Pharmacy Act, 1948 and the Pharmacy Practice Regulations, 2015 govern professional registration and create a pool of qualified practitioners, but they do not mandate that every registered pharmacist must be automatically considered or appointed to public posts.
